The room was a good size and very comfortable, with a grand view across the top of Huddersfield to the hills beyond and the iconic Jubilee and Emley towers, mirrored in the artwork on the wall. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room too. Breakfast was a good array of cooked and 'continental' options.

I only stayed one night and didn't use gym, bar or restaurant so have only given 4 out of 5 rating although the reception area is large and looks very stylish and cosy. I stayed in one of the hotels newly refurbished rooms and it was amazing - very plush and comfortable with a supersized bed and huge telly with all the apps and set up for gaming I believe!

The hotel surprised me, lovely staff and lovely renovated rooms. The young lady on reception was amazing, very friendly and helpful. So good first impressions. The quality of the beds was good too. A good all round very reasonably priced hotel, about a ten minute drive to Piece Hall venue, in Halifax. Would definitely stay again
